Fractional HR Leadership

During times of HR Leadership transition, Sera rolls up our sleeves and fills the interim void.

The Challenge

A privately-owned company found themselves in a time of transition when the company and the HR Director decided to mutually part ways. In preparing to replace the employee, the company owners uncovered several HR-related operational issues. Unsure of how to move forward, the owners contacted Sera to aid in the time of transition.

How Sera
Connected the Dots

Sera filled the HR Director role by providing onsite and remote tactical support (recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, leaves of absence, etc.).
Partnering with C-Suite leaders, Sera took time to understand business and operating model(s), current vs. desired culture trends, and future growth plans.
Sera audited HR functions including: compliance records, process flows, systems, policies, HR expenses and contracts, etc.

To ensure alignment with defined company objectives, Sera standardized and optimized HR operations to reflect marketplace best practice.

Positive Impact

Sera strengthened HR compliance activities which helped mitigate exposure in a class action law suit.

Sera built a customized HR Process Manual to serve as a reference tool for the incoming HR Leader, as well as a resource for company stakeholders.

Company benefited from senior-level counsel and marketplace perspective on HR-related strategies and tactics.
